Susi Povolny's Lemon bread, nothing low calorie about this, just lots of good lemon flavor. Cream: 3 c sugar 1 1/2 c margarine or butter Add 6 eggs 3 t lemon flavoring Mix and add alternately with milk 4 1/2 c flour 3 t bkg pwdr pinch of salt 1 1/2 c milk Put into 3 loaf pans and bake at 350 for 55 minutes. Remove from oven and prick tops of the loaves with a fork. Pour glaze over them repeatedly until glaze is gone. Let stand for 10 minutes and remove from pans. Glaze: Dissolve 1 c sugar in juice of 2 lemons. Pour over loaves.
